Jeon Hyun-moo Embarks on a Dream Camping Trip in Jeju with His New Campervan
Jeon Hyun-moo has fulfilled his dream of a camping trip in Jeju Island.
On the October 27th episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone,' Jeon Hyun-moo was seen taking an impromptu trip to Jeju Island.
Jeon Hyun-moo began his journey with his new 'Moo-car' (a combination of his name and campervan). He expressed, "I feel it's a waste to just go home. Let's take my new Moo-car and go. I've been working too much lately. People often ask, 'When do you have fun?' I play hard when I do. At home, I only sleep." He added, "Looking back at this year, all I remember is work. If I make excuses about being tired today, I'll never do it."
Jeon Hyun-moo shared, "It's a small bucket list dream of mine. I've always vaguely dreamed of driving my campervan in Jeju. I want to drive along the coastal roads of Jeju. It would be happiness to eat sashimi while feeling the breeze in such spots." Jeon Hyun-moo headed to Mokpo late at night to board a ferry. Although he arrived at dawn, the boarding time was in the morning. He decided to camp in his 'New Moo-car.' However, his excitement was short-lived as sudden rain and hail began to fall. As the hail intensified and shook his tent, he worried, "Isn't the car going to get damaged?" Yet, he soon fell asleep, snoring, which brought laughter.
Jeon Hyun-moo had booked a suite room on the ferry and used the exclusive line for suite guests. He explained, "I splurged a bit because a good night's sleep is essential for a good trip." Impressed by the ferry's hotel-like facilities, he remarked, "I didn't know such a world existed." He added, "It's like a five-star experience. I thought I should enjoy it rather than just sleep," and spent time in the game room after dining.
Once off the ferry, Jeon Hyun-moo began his Jeju adventure in his 'New Moo-car.' He expressed his excitement, saying, "It felt like landing on the moon. It's amazing."
Driving along the coastal road, Jeon Hyun-moo visited a café run by a younger acquaintance. He warmly embraced his friend upon arrival. In an interview, he shared, "I envied (Park) Na-rae because wherever she goes, she has 'octopus brother,' 'pear brother,' 'mackerel brother.' I usually solve things with money. This is my only café friend. We first met eight years ago."
Following his friend's recommendation, Jeon Hyun-moo set up a pop-up tent at a camping spot and enjoyed seafood, realizing his dream. He commented, "Eating like this makes it taste like it's fresh from the sea." However, the wind grew stronger, and the weather turned colder.
Wrapping up his trip, Jeon Hyun-moo reflected, "It felt like a seven-night, eight-day journey. It was my first cruise experience. I got to see my friend after a long time and eat the seafood I craved." He concluded, "I think these are the trips that leave lasting memories," adding humorously, "I sent the car back by delivery. One car camp per trip is my rule."
Previously, Jeon Hyun-moo revealed on a program that his income had increased "more than ten thousand times" compared to his announcer salary. Later, he clarified on another show, "I'm not sure if it's exactly ten thousand times or how many times, but my current salary is incomparable to my announcer days. And I pay a lot of taxes accordingly."
