Super Junior Reveals Near Disbandment Story on 20th Anniversary

On the October 12th episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros,' Super Junior appeared as a complete group to mark their 20th anniversary.
During the show, the members reflected on their journey. Leeteuk recalled, "In our 20s and 30s, fights would often start with fists, but now in our 40s, it's different." Kang Ho-dong added, "Back in the 'Strong Heart' days, a third of the talk was about your fights." Leeteuk humorously mentioned, "When the atmosphere got dull during recordings, Kang Ho-dong would tell us to go fight in the back."
Eunhyuk shared, "There was a time we fought so much that I thought we might disband, especially during 'Inkigayo.'" He recounted an incident, saying, "Leeteuk was really mad then." Leeteuk explained, "Before a recording, I was trying to sleep, but water kept dripping on me. I asked nicely, but Donghae kept doing it, and then Kyuhyun did it too."

Leeteuk said, "I told Eunhyuk to give the acceptance speech if we won first place. But since he was still upset, when we won, he thanked SM and the other artists instead of the members." Leeteuk noted, "That broadcast led to 'Eunhyuk being bullied' trending online."
Shindong commented, "Watching from the side was frustrating, but you can't show it on stage." Kyuhyun added, "Back in the waiting room, Shindong kicked a Styrofoam box full of drinks, causing cola to explode all over Yesung." Yesung said, "I didn't know anything, but I got showered in cola," leading to a fight between Shindong and Yesung.
Leeteuk concluded, "We went to film 'Dream Team' still upset, and we struggled because we weren't united. But then I held Eunhyuk's hand, told him I believed in him, and we succeeded, winning the challenge." Eunhyuk added, "We hugged and cried." More stories of their fights followed.
