Ji Sang-ryeol to Awaken His Love Cells on New KBS Joy Show 'Omanchu'

Comedian Ji Sang-ryeol is set to awaken his love cells.

According to TenAsia's report on the 21st, Ji Sang-ryeol will appear on the new KBS Joy variety show 'Omanchu'. The title 'Omanchu' stands for 'Pursuing Old Meetings'.

The show features long-time celebrity friends embarking on a journey together, engaging in group dating activities. It aims to explore both friendship and love.

The first filming has already been completed, and the show is expected to air in the first half of 2025.

Recently, Ji Sang-ryeol confessed to having a romantic interest in actress Oh Hyun-kyung on a variety show. At the time, Lee Sang-min revealed, "We're about to hear Ji Sang-ryeol's love story. It's said that Ji Sang-ryeol has had over 100 romantic flings, and recently, he had a fling with actress Oh Hyun-kyung."

Ji Sang-ryeol explained, "When asked about me, Oh Hyun-kyung said, 'He's a good person.' So, during a drinking session, I joked, 'If things go well between us, we could appear on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams', and if we have a child, we could go on 'The Return of Superman'."

Ji Sang-ryeol further revealed, "Not long ago, Oh Hyun-kyung called me out of the blue, asking if I could join her for a drink in Itaewon," capturing the attention of the show's participants.

Meanwhile, Ji Sang-ryeol is known for his stable and relaxed hosting skills, witty banter, and high energy, making him a beloved figure in various genres of variety shows, including talk shows and reality programs. Last year, he won the Grand Prize in the Broadcasting Entertainer category at the '11th Korea Arts and Culture Awards'.
