Defconn Joins 'Animals Are Great' as New MC: Shares His Excitement

Defconn has expressed his excitement about joining 'Animals Are Great' as the new MC.

On the 15th, the production presentation for KBS's new variety show 'Animals Are Great' was held online.

'Animals Are Great' is a program that explores the daily lives of animals, who are friends and family to humans, through an 'animal cam,' covering the overall culture of pet companionship.

The show features Eun Ji-won, known for his sharp wit, and Jang Do-yeon, a 'pro-empathizer' and one of the hottest stars right now, as MCs. Joining them is Defconn, known for his candid talk and reactions, who has come on board with the regular programming as a new MC.

Replacing Seo Jang-hoon, Defconn shared, “I have been involved in various programs, but I was aiming for something new. I was grateful to be offered a program I hadn't tried before, and I felt it was different from other animal-related shows. It seemed to discuss awareness and responsibility, which I really liked. It was such a great program that I immediately decided to join.”

He added, “I have nothing special to show. I will react as I am. I believe that understanding and supporting pet owners as a non-pet owner is what truly completes the pet culture. I will respond as I feel while watching.”

'Animals Are Great' will premiere on the 16th at 10:35 AM. Starting December 9th, it will air every Monday at 8:30 PM.
