Running Man Episode Sparks Controversy Over Ji Ye-eun's High School Model Claims and Hilarious Bag Mishap

Ji Ye-eun, born in 1994, revealed her past as a promotional model during her high school years.

On the October 10th episode of SBS's 'Running Man', episode 727, Baby Monster's Rami, Laura, and actor Kim Dong-jun appeared as guests, participating in the 'Class President Election' race.

The 'Running Man' members recreated their high school days by wearing uniforms reminiscent of their school years. Yoo Jae-suk, from the era of self-regulated uniforms, showcased a retro charm with his denim-on-denim fashion, while Haha sported a late 90s 5:5 parted hairstyle.

Ji Ye-eun disclosed that she attended Jungang Girls' High School and worked as a promotional model at the time. This led Ji Suk-jin, Yoo Jae-suk, and Kim Jong-kook to question her credentials, asking, "What kind of promotional model were you? What did you promote?" When Ji Suk-jin inquired if she appeared on any covers, Ji Ye-eun replied, "Back in the day," but admitted there were no records when asked if any materials could be found, intensifying the skepticism. The production team contacted Jungang Girls' High School but received a response that no records were available. They mentioned they were awaiting reports from alumni.

After the first class president election, the members split into teams for a competition. As they were about to move to the next filming location, Ji Suk-jin suddenly exclaimed, "Where's my bag?" claiming it had been stolen, drawing attention. Suspiciously eyeing the members, he accused Yoo Jae-suk, saying, "Ip-took, didn't you take it?" Yoo Jae-suk retorted, "Last time, you cursed yourself and ended up with a broken nose," referencing Ji Suk-jin's past antics.

In a previous episode, Ji Suk-jin accused the members of stealing his coins and cursed the culprit, only to find the coins in his own pocket, earning the members' ire. Haha remarked, "Hyung, there's a rumor you're going to hell," recalling Ji Suk-jin's previous curses.

With Ji Suk-jin suspecting everyone, including Yoo Jae-suk, the members and 50 production staff began a thorough search. Eventually, it was revealed that Ji Suk-jin had thrown his bag far away and forgotten to retrieve it, prompting the members to demand a public apology.

Under 'Class President' Yoo Jae-suk's orders, the members lined up to receive a proper apology. As Ji Suk-jin continued to suspect someone had tampered with his bag, the members insisted he apologize formally, which he began to do in the manner they requested.
