Moon So-ri Praises Kim Tae-ri's Exceptional Talent in 'Jeong Nyeon'
Actress Moon So-ri expressed her admiration for Kim Tae-ri's talent.
On the 11th, Moon So-ri met with TenAsia at the C-JeS Studio headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, to discuss various aspects of the tvN weekend drama 'Jeong Nyeon'.
'Jeong Nyeon' is a drama set in the 1950s, post-Korean War, depicting the competition, solidarity, and brilliant growth of 'Jeong Nyeon', a 'born sound genius' aspiring to become the best national drama actor. In the drama, Moon So-ri plays the role of Seo Yong-rye, a vanished genius sound artist who lives as Jeong Nyeon's mother, showcasing a presence beyond a special appearance.
Moon So-ri revealed that she watched the 10th episode of 'Jeong Nyeon' live with actors Kim Tae-ri and Oh Kyung-hwa. She said, "The Mokpo dialect teacher, Tae-ri, and Kyung-hwa came to my house. We had promised to watch the 10th episode together for a long time. Originally, I planned to make japchae myself for a party, but I had a shoot that day, so I didn't have time to cook. I was worried, but fortunately, the Mokpo dialect teacher's mother sent us Mokpo skate, kimchi, and makgeolli, so we all enjoyed it together. We even put candles on a cake wishing for high ratings and had a fun time," she shared.
When asked what they talked about while watching the broadcast, Moon So-ri said, "We talked about how hard we worked and how amazing it was, but we tend to be strict and harsh on ourselves. I told Tae-ri, 'Who else could work as hard as you? I don't think I've ever seen anyone like you.' But Tae-ri said she wished she could have done more with the sound, singing, and dancing. Even though she practiced for three years, achieving that level is really tough. But as you do more, you develop more eyes and ears, so I think she felt it was a shame. I also talk a lot about my shortcomings. Nevertheless, I'm grateful that many people liked the result we all worked on together," she said.
