Comedian Jung Jun-ha Clarifies Past Retirement Rumors
Comedian Jung Jun-ha has opened up about the past rumors surrounding his retirement.
On the Channel A show 'Best Friends Talkumentary - Table for Four' (hereafter referred to as 'Table for Four'), which aired on the 4th, Chef Jung Ji-sun appeared and invited Jung Jun-ha, Chef Yeo Kyung-rae, and singer Byul as close friends.
During the show, Jung Jun-ha expressed his genuine passion for the food industry, stating, "I truly love food and have a sincere affection for it."
He further revealed, "Through 'Infinite Challenge,' I received love and gained a lot of popularity for 13 years, but it wasn't always a good thing." He explained, "We recorded every Thursday, and if the recording went well, I was happy for the week, but if it didn't go as planned, it was tough throughout the weekend. Sometimes, I couldn't sleep the night before filming." Jung Jun-ha, who felt the pressure, said, "When 'Infinite Challenge' was ending, it was difficult, but after it ended, I felt relieved and didn't want to do broadcasting." He added, "I then focused entirely on the restaurant business. One day, while drinking with writers, I heard rumors that I had retired from broadcasting. It was just that I wasn't doing it at the time," explaining that the continuous rejection of offers led to retirement rumors.
Jung Jun-ha shared, "I thought I might lose my livelihood if this continued," and said, "From then on, I worked hard on broadcasting."
