Korean actor Park Jae-hyun, known for his reenactment roles on TV Chosun's 'X's Private Life', shared his life updates three years after divorcing his ex-wife Han Hye-joo, who is 16 years his junior, on the October 17th broadcast. Park revealed that he currently lives in a small one-room apartment and works in a restaurant to make ends meet.

Why Did Park Jae-hyun Quit Reenactment Acting?

Park Jae-hyun explained that he stopped his reenactment acting career because he was concerned that his daughter might dislike being known as the 'daughter of a reenactment actor'.

He shared, "I was worried it might hurt her," explaining the background of his decision to step away from acting.

When Did the Couple's Conflicts Begin?

The couple, who overcame a 16-year age gap, got married six months into their relationship due to a premarital pregnancy.

However, their marriage was not smooth sailing.

Park recalled, "The conflicts began when my parents stayed at our house before my daughter's surgery."

He further revealed, "It started with not having breakfast together," and added, "When my ex-wife asked if my parents were more important than our daughter, at that time, my parents were more important," which was shocking.

After the divorce, Park Jae-hyun has been living in a small one-room apartment, working nearly 10 hours a day in a restaurant kitchen.

His ex-wife Han Hye-joo stated on the show, "People don't change easily," drawing a line.

She also declared, "I have no thoughts of reconciliation," putting a definitive end to their relationship.
