Tensions Rise in JTBC Drama 'Fighting Against Worthlessness' as Key Characters Clash

A tense atmosphere has been detected among PD Go Yoon-jung, actress Han Sun-hwa, and director Shim Hee-seop. The suffocating tension between Bae Jong-ok's two daughters, Go Yoon-jung and Han Sun-hwa, is particularly captivating.

In the recent episode 5 of JTBC's weekend drama 'Fighting Against Worthlessness' (hereafter 'FAW'), Hwang Dong-man (Koo Kyo-hwan), Jang Mi-ran (Han Sun-hwa), and Lee Jun-hwan (Shim Hee-seop) bonded over their common adversary, Park Kyung-se (Oh Jung-se). Jang Mi-ran, impressed by Hwang Dong-man's blunt critique, vented her frustrations about the film director Park Kyung-se, which led to Hwang Dong-man revealing Park's humiliating nickname, 'superficial,' further heightening the atmosphere.

The tension among the group at their hideout is palpable, especially with Jang Mi-ran's face turning cold and serious after reviewing the script, sparking curiosity about the change in dynamics.

The upcoming episode is set to peak in tension as Byun Eun-ah (Go Yoon-jung) and Jang Mi-ran finally confront each other. The meeting between the 'hidden biological daughter' and the 'glamorous stepdaughter' of national actress Oh Jung-hee (Bae Jong-ok) promises an uncomfortable tension.

The production team hints that Byun Eun-ah, known for her sharp and straightforward feedback, will direct her 'axe' towards Jang Mi-ran this time, drawing attention to the potential narrative between the PD and the lead actress over Lee Jun-hwan's script.
