Go Soo's Dramatic Transformation in New tvN Drama 'Parole Examiner Lee Han-shin'
Go Soo is set to showcase a dramatic transformation.
On November 4th, tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Parole Examiner Lee Han-shin' (directed by Yoon Sang-ho, written by Park Chi-hyung, planned by CJ ENM, KT Studio Genie, produced by Kotap Media) released its comprehensive trailer. 'Lee Han-shin' is a thrilling drama about lawyer Lee Han-shin (played by Go Soo), who becomes a 'parole examiner' to judge inmates and stop morally corrupt individuals.
The released trailer begins with Lee Han-shin appearing with an umbrella in front of Ji Dong-man (played by Song Young-chang), who is flustered by flying eggs and camera flashes. Ji Dong-man is the chairman of Oh Jung Group, the top corporation in Korea. As Lee Han-shin raises the umbrella and says, "Call me anytime you need. I'm lawyer Lee Han-shin," he seems like a prince on a white horse. Following this, Lee Han-shin is seen singing in a glittering outfit and causing a commotion in the parole hearing room, engaging in antics unbecoming of a lawyer. The voiceover saying, "Take it easy. Act like a lawyer," indicates that Lee Han-shin's behavior is far from typical for a lawyer.
Despite the surrounding gazes, Lee Han-shin, who becomes a 'parole examiner,' raises his hand during a parole hearing and exclaims, "I object," when asked if anyone has objections to the eligibility ruling. Ji Dong-man, whom Lee Han-shin initially protected from eggs, charges at him, asking, "Are you crazy?" sparking curiosity about what transpired between them.
The scene shifts to Lee Han-shin approaching detective Ahn Seo-yoon (played by Kwon Yuri) and loan shark Choi Hwa-ran (played by Baek Ji-won). The unexpected combination of these three characters raises expectations, and curiosity grows about why Lee Han-shin chose them and why they joined forces with him.
The screen transitions to the villain Ji Myung-seop (played by Lee Hak-joo), whom they must stop. Lee Han-shin, the parole examiner who stops bad guys, detective Ahn Seo-yoon, the ace of the violent crime unit, and Choi Hwa-ran, the legendary loan shark, heighten anticipation about how they will thwart his evil deeds.
The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Parole Examiner Lee Han-shin' premieres on November 18th at 8:50 PM.
