Kim Jong-kook Playfully Criticizes Jonathan for Wedding Gift Etiquette on 'Running Man'
On the latest episode of SBS's variety show 'Running Man' aired on the 3rd, Kim Jong-kook humorously criticized Jonathan, born in 2000, for giving a small wedding gift but eating a lot at Jo Se-ho's wedding. The episode featured guests Hong Kyung, Noh Yoon-seo, and Kim Min-ju from the movie 'Listen'. Yoo Jae-suk drew attention by mentioning, "In the elevator, Jong-kook hurt Ye-eun's feelings twice."
Before the opening, Kim Jong-kook asked, "Ye-eun, are you mutual followers with OOO?" Ji Ye-eun revealed, "That person was born in 2003, and I was born in 1994." Kim Jong-kook unintentionally hurt her feelings by responding, "Are you that old?"
Kim Jong-kook explained, "I meant you get along well with younger guys, but there's a 10-year gap. I was complimenting you for looking young." Yoo Jae-suk added humor by revealing, "When he said she was older than expected, Ye-eun glared at him saying, 'My age...'"
Ha-ha commented, "Your words are full of fat today," pointing out Kim Jong-kook's remarks. Ji Ye-eun jokingly added, "Your words are a bit off today." Yoo Jae-suk recalled, "At Se-ho's wedding yesterday, Jong-kook sat Jonathan down and talked a lot." Kim Jong-kook continued, "He didn't give much as a wedding gift but ate a lot. I can't say how much he gave."
Yoo Jae-suk questioned Ji Suk-jin, "Your name was on the guest list, but you weren't there." Kim Jong-kook added, "You were a no-show, right?" Ji Suk-jin explained, "I called Se-ho saying I had an urgent matter. It was a national affair, and I can't say more. Many would be affected. I welcomed a state guest." He later admitted he appeared on Kim Yong-man's YouTube channel at his request, drawing attention.
