Kim Young-chul Embarks on a Date with Longtime Crush Hwangbo

On the October 20th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy' (hereafter 'My Little Old Boy'), Kim Young-chul was introduced as a new 'My Little Old Boy' son.
On this day, Kim Young-chul showcased his 'perfect life' by managing his appearance, studying English, and cooking from the morning. Later, his unmarried older sister visited his home, and Kim Young-chul confessed to her, "I had a 'some girl'."
When asked if it was mutual, Kim Young-chul replied, "We met on weekends, had meals together, and watched movies." However, his sister retorted, "Anyone can do that. It's just your feeling." Kim Young-chul then explained, "I thought she would meet friends on her birthday, but we had dinner together on her birthday evening. I thought having dinner on her birthday was a good sign," leading his sister to acknowledge the 'some' relationship.
Kim Young-chul shared his trauma about confessing, saying, "There are times when I know I'll be rejected. As a close brother, I'm great, but when I try to get closer, they seriously wave their hands. When I think I'm going to confess, they don't contact me the following week, apologize, or say they have to study abroad. After experiencing this several times, my confidence drops. I thought it was a 'some' and confessed."

Kim Young-chul took Hwangbo to a place he always wanted to visit with her, took four-cut photos, and spent private time in a pre-reserved room. He revealed that he had slept at Hwangbo's house, to which Hwangbo clarified, "Be precise. You slept in our guest room. Don't put too much meaning into it. It seems like you did."
Kim Young-chul confessed, "When people ask if I liked Hwangbo, I said, 'Hwangbo is pretty. She has a good personality.' It's strange not to like you. I had feelings beyond a sibling." Hwangbo, taken aback, said, "You're talking so seriously, I don't know what to do." Kim Young-chul asked, "Have you ever thought about dating this brother?" Hwangbo drew a line, saying, "I thought about it if we were both single until sixty, but that doesn't seem possible. Time flies faster than I thought."
