Michelin-Starred Chef Fabrizio Ferrari Joins 'If You Rest, It's a Relief' for an Island Culinary Challenge

On October 11, the production team of MBC's variety program 'If You Rest, It's a Relief' (directed by Kim Myung-jin, Shin Hyun-bin, Lee Joon-beom, Kim Ki-ho / writer Kwon Jung-hee) announced, "Fabrizio Ferrari, an Italian chef who has held a Michelin star for 15 years in a row, will appear on the show. He will join as a support for Lee Dae-ho, who is challenging himself on a 0.5-star deserted island," raising viewers' expectations.
Fabrizio is the owner-chef of a restaurant in Italy that has received a Michelin star for 15 consecutive years. He gained recognition in Korea after participating in a cooking competition show in 2018 and has been living in Korea since 2019, driven by his love for Korean cuisine. He has been active in various fields, appearing on numerous broadcasts and lecturing at universities. Recently, he made headlines by appearing on the Netflix variety show 'Black and White Chef'.
Fabrizio is the first Italian Michelin-starred chef to visit the 0.5-star deserted island on 'If You Rest, It's a Relief'. Known for his artistic culinary creations, there is much anticipation about what kind of dishes he will present on the island. There is also curiosity about how well he will adapt to the challenging environment of the 0.5-star deserted island, where he must create top-notch dishes despite limited resources.
Notably, Fabrizio is a seafood specialist who has focused on seafood dishes since his time in Italy. This aligns perfectly with 'If You Rest, It's a Relief', where he can cook with freshly caught seafood from nature. With the recent capture of rare species like the 'white sea cucumber', there is heightened curiosity about what kind of seafood will welcome him on the 0.5-star deserted island.
Will Fabrizio be able to create a five-star feast to support Lee Dae-ho? The appearance of the new chef Fabrizio is drawing attention to MBC's 'If You Rest, It's a Relief', which airs every Monday at 9 PM.
