Hwang In-yeop Shares Experience of Playing a High School Student in 'Assembled Family'

On the 8th, a production presentation for JTBC's Wednesday drama 'Assembled Family' was held at Ramada Seoul Sindorim Hotel in Seoul. The event was attended by director Kim Seung-ho and actors Hwang In-yeop, Jung Chae-yeon, Bae Hyun-sung, Choi Won-young, and Choi Moo-sung.
'Assembled Family' is a romance drama about three youths who spent 10 years as a family and 10 years apart, reuniting once again. It is based on the Chinese Hunan TV drama 'Yi Jia Ren Zhi Ming'.
Hwang In-yeop plays the role of Kim San-ha, a character with an appealing appearance and seemingly nothing to regret. At 33, Hwang commented on wearing a school uniform, saying, "I always think it's the last time I'll wear a school uniform, but if the message of the work is good, there's no reason to refuse. To create a high school chemistry, we had many private gatherings. A little alcohol makes you honest, so we got closer that way. The two friends are still in their 20s, so they naturally seemed like high school students. I should have tried a bit harder, but I hope it was conveyed well," he said humbly.
Regarding the sibling chemistry with Jung Chae-yeon and Bae Hyun-sung, he said, "All three of us have an introverted personality. There are many scenes where we play around awkwardly, so we quickly got to know each other's personalities and preferences. We even went to an amusement park together, and today, the three of us plan to have a meal together."
'Assembled Family' will premiere on October 9th at 8:50 PM and will air two consecutive episodes every Wednesday.
