Lee Do-hyun Shines as Special MC on KBS 'Immortal Songs' for Armed Forces Day Special

Lee Do-hyun expressed his thoughts on taking on the role of special MC for KBS 'Immortal Songs'.

The 675th episode of KBS2's 'Immortal Songs', directed by Park Hyung-geun and Kim Hyung-seok, will air on the 5th as a '2024 Armed Forces Day Special'.

This special episode features Lee Do-hyun, a 'ten-million actor' beloved by the public, joining as a special MC. He will collaborate with the regular MCs Shin Dong-yup, Kim Jun-hyun, and Lee Chan-won from start to finish, generating significant buzz.

Shin Dong-yup praised Lee Do-hyun's hosting skills, saying, "I told him offstage, 'Do-hyun, you're really good.' Being an MC is not easy." In response, Lee Do-hyun shared his secret, saying, "I am currently serving as an MC soldier. I applied for the MC soldier role to enhance my acting career. I approached it as if I were taking on the role of an MC."

On this day, Lee Do-hyun demonstrated his disciplined MC soldier persona by saluting with "Victory" before interviewing the soldiers present, showcasing his stable hosting skills and earning applause.

The 'Immortal Songs-2024 Armed Forces Day Special' is specially organized to commemorate the '76th Armed Forces Day'. Performers with energy matching the strong morale of our soldiers, such as Insooni, Koyote, Min Woo-hyuk, Young Tak, Ailee, Liberante, and TripleS, will take the stage. Additionally, currently serving soldiers Cho Seung-youn and Jung Seung-hwan, along with Forestella's Go Woo-rim and Liberante's Kim Ji-hoon, will perform as part of the Ministry of National Defense choir. The event will also feature the Ministry of National Defense choir, the 8th U.S. Army Band, Gapyeong Girls' Choir, and the 2nd Corps Taekwondo Demonstration Team, adding to its significance.
