TV CHOSUN's observational entertainment show 'Now Alone' has confirmed former basketball star Woo Ji-won and broadcaster Kim Sae-rom as new members. The show is set to return with a regular schedule in early October.
Woo Ji-won, who gained a massive following during his Yonsei University days, has built a diverse career in musicals, dramas, and entertainment shows after retiring from basketball. His 2019 amicable divorce, ending 17 years of marriage, garnered significant attention when it was revealed on the 14th. Many are eager to see what Woo Ji-won will bring to his second act in life through 'Now Alone'.
In 2014, Woo Ji-won was arrested for assault after throwing a fan during a drunken argument with his wife at their home.
Supermodel-turned-broadcaster Kim Sae-rom, who is actively participating in various entertainment programs, also joins the cast. Now in her eighth year of her second act, Kim Sae-rom will showcase aspects of her daily life that have not been seen on television before. Divorce lawyer Shin Eun-sook joins as a panelist to add expertise. Shin will provide practical tips and advice through studio talks that reflect real-life divorce cases from viewers, in addition to discussing the cast's VCR clips.
With existing members Park Mi-sun, Jeon No-min, Jo Yoon-hee, Choi Dong-seok, and Lee Yoon-jin, the new members Woo Ji-won, Kim Sae-rom, and lawyer Shin Eun-sook will present 'Now Alone', a real observational entertainment show that captures the journey of individuals adapting to life alone and finding happiness. The pilot episodes previously recorded a viewership rating of 4.5% nationwide, peaking at 5.6% (Nielsen Korea).
'Now Alone' will return with new members and segments in its regular broadcast starting this October.
