KCM Shares Heart-Wrenching Experience of Son's Birth on 'The Return of Superman'

KCM, who tied the knot in 2021, opens up about the heart-stopping moment during the birth of his youngest son on KBS2's 'The Return of Superman'.

The 615th episode of 'The Return of Superman', airing on the 1st, is themed 'Spring is Coming~ You're Coming Too~'. It features KCM and his wife, who recently welcomed their third child, along with their younger siblings Seoyeon and Haon.

KCM reveals the life-and-death situation during the birth of his son Haon. Born six weeks earlier than expected at 34 weeks of pregnancy, 30% of the placenta had prematurely detached, necessitating emergency surgery. KCM recalls, "In the early morning, my wife's bleeding wouldn't stop, and Haon's fetal movements were decreasing. It was the scariest moment of my life," he says, shedding tears as he recounts the precarious situation where he could have lost both his beloved wife and child.

KCM's wife, Bang Ye-won, shares her fears, saying, "I thought, 'What will happen to the kids if something happens to me?'" expressing her concern about leaving her children motherless. She tearfully adds, "I couldn't even say goodbye to my daughters."

With their miraculous son Haon now 62 days old, KCM and his wife take him for his first infant check-up. As they measure Haon's height, weight, and head circumference, KCM can't take his eyes off him and confides to the doctor, "I'm quite worried since Haon was born prematurely." The doctor reportedly reveals test results that instantly ease the couple's tension.
