Lee Soo-min has shared the news of her pregnancy with her father, Lee Yong-sik.

On the 23rd, TV Chosun's variety show 'Joseon's Love' aired an episode where Lee Soo-min and her husband Won-hyuk announced their pregnancy just five months after their wedding.

In the episode, Lee Soo-min and Won-hyuk urgently met with the production team. Won-hyuk revealed, "Soo-min and I are going to be parents," and Lee Soo-min showed a pregnancy test. She explained, "I didn't take the test because I had symptoms. We had planned a staycation to try for a baby. As we were packing, I took the test out of curiosity, and it showed two lines. I thought I would show it to him at the hotel."

At that moment, Lee Soo-min had placed the pregnancy test in a box, and upon seeing it, Won-hyuk burst into tears. He then said, "I won't cry anymore. I'll be a strong man," and humorously added, "Who said my testosterone levels were low?"

The couple also revealed their baby's nickname. Lee Soo-min said, "My husband had already chosen a nickname, 'Palbok,' which means 'eight blessings' from the Bible."

Later, Lee Soo-min sat down with her parents and said, "We just came back from the hospital. It's been four weeks." Her father, Lee Yong-sik, teared up and said, "Why do I miss my mother right now? I had Soo-min after eight and a half years of trying. Hearing that Soo-min got pregnant just a few months after her wedding makes me think of all the hardships her mother went through. I remember our whole family praying at church for a baby."

Lee Soo-min's mother recalled, "I thought I had a cold and went to the hospital. When I got back in the car and said, 'I'm pregnant,' I cried for an hour and couldn't drive." Lee Yong-sik added, "Those who have had children late understand why we cry so much. It's the greatest gift. Thank you so much."

Won-hyuk announced, "The baby is due next May," and Lee Soo-min added, "They say the period from 12 to 15 weeks is the most critical." Lee Yong-sik expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much. Palbok, when you're born, Grandpa will hold you and laugh heartily."
