Kim Hae-joon and Pak Se-ri explained their romantic relationship rumors

Comedian Kim Hae-jun has shared his love story with Kim Seung-hye, whom he is set to marry this October.

On the 11th, the 881st episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star' (hereafter 'RaS') featured guests Chae Jung-an, Jay Park, Kim Hae-jun, and Jang Dong-sun.

During the show, Kim Hae-jun apologized for the sudden marriage news that broke while he was creating a 'business fling' atmosphere with Park Se-ri. Previously, Kim Hae-jun had even sparked dating rumors with Park Se-ri.

Kim Gura suggested that Kim Hae-jun should have contacted Park Se-ri before the marriage news broke, saying, "There are rules even in fling businesses." Kim Hae-jun explained, "The news broke while I was filming overseas, so I couldn't time it right." He added that Park Se-ri "truly congratulated" him.

Kim Hae-jun mentioned that fellow comedians Moon Se-yoon, Lee Sang-jun, and Kim Yong-myung are being considered as the hosts for the wedding, while Jo Hye-ryun, who reached out first, and Lee Chang-ho, who is currently popular with his character 'Jwirolla,' will be singing at the ceremony. Kim Hae-jun expressed his gratitude for Jo Hye-ryun's participation, saying, "It has become a tradition for comedians to have her sing at their weddings, and we are very thankful."

Kim Hae-jun also shared his love story with Kim Seung-hye. He said, "Four years ago, we did a play together with many comedians. At that time, she was my senior, and I was her junior. Over time, we started to check in on each other, and eventually, we began talking on the phone. I was the one who called first. Our phone conversations lasted 3-4 hours and happened daily. I realized my feelings were growing, so I asked her what kind of person she liked. She said she liked someone dependable and kind. I then asked, 'Isn't that me?' That was when she first developed romantic feelings for me."

He continued, "After confessing, I waited about two weeks. We talked on the phone once a week, and eventually, Seung-hye sorted out her feelings and said, 'Let's date properly,' so we started dating."

When asked if he had proposed, Kim Hae-jun said, "I wanted to surprise her, so I bought a necklace while we were briefly overseas. One night, while walking, we found a beautiful spot and decided to film a short video. I took out the necklace from behind and said, 'Ta-da.' But I didn't kneel. She asked me to kneel, so I did, and we finished the video perfectly."
