Previously, Lee Sang-woo made headlines by preparing a meticulously crafted galbijjim over five days for Kim So-yeon. This time, his gnocchi recipe involved 13 steps and took three days to complete. Lee Sang-woo studied potatoes, the main ingredient for gnocchi, and repeatedly simulated the cooking process, providing comic relief. Chef Lee Yeon-bok even remarked, "I've never seen anyone simulate cooking while on 'Convenience Store'."

Lee Sang-woo earned the nickname 'Devotion Maniac' for his dedication, completing the gnocchi and even making witch soup, a favorite of Kim So-yeon. His intense focus, mixed with occasional clumsiness, turned the 'Convenience Store' studio into a laughter-filled environment. Lee Sang-woo's first menu, the spicy galbijjim rice bowl, received high praise as a "perfect dish with no dislikes," securing his victory. Meanwhile, the broadcast also featured special dishes from 'loving husbands' Ryu Soo-young and Jason. Ryu Soo-young taught Jason, who expressed a desire to learn cooking, how to make chamgancho pasta, a dish praised at Stanford University in the U.S. The upgraded 2024 version of Ryu Soo-young's signature chamgancho sauce was revealed, generating buzz.

Ryu Soo-young also shared simple recipes for two types of jeon (Korean pancakes) and jeon soy sauce, perfect for the upcoming Chuseok holiday. He demonstrated how to make dongtaejeon (pollock pancakes) and crispy eggplant jeon, along with a soy sauce enhanced with minced ginger to elevate the flavor. Ryu Soo-young humorously noted, "If husbands make jeon, there will be no couple fights during the holidays," garnering much support.

KBS 2TV's 'New Release Convenience Store', which showcases the daily lives and delicious menus of charming stars, airs every Friday at 8:30 PM.
