Director Mo Wan-il expressed his admiration for Yoon Kye-sang's 13kg weight loss.

On the 27th, Director Mo Wan-il met with TenAsia at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, to discuss various aspects of the Netflix series 'In the Forest Where No One Exists'.

'In the Forest Where No One Exists' is a suspense thriller that tells the story of people whose peaceful lives are disrupted by a mysterious visitor in the middle of summer, leading to uncontrollable events. This is the latest work from Director Mo Wan-il, known for his dramas 'Misty' and 'The World of the Married'.

Previously, Yoon Kye-sang revealed that he lost 13kg in just three weeks for his role as a grandfather in the series. He said, "The appearance of the character 20 years later as a grandfather is shown in episode 6. I decided to lose weight on my own, thinking about how Sang-jun would look when his time had stopped."

Director Mo Wan-il recalled, "It was a mission to portray Sang-jun who endured that time, and he lost an unbelievable amount of weight. I wondered if a person could lose that much weight. He was all bones."

He continued, "Yoon Kye-sang has an incredibly good physique. Even after losing weight, his body structure was still very youthful. Usually, when older people lose that much weight, everything seems to sag, but that wasn't the case at all. He still looked attractive and solid, even younger than me," he marveled.
