Choi Daniel to Star in New Dating Show 'Pre-Marital Love'

Choi Daniel is set to transition from being a host to a participant in a dating show.

Premiering on the 26th, MBN's new variety show 'Pre-Marital Love' features Japanese women, who have developed a fascination for romantic Korean men due to the K-drama wave, meeting Korean men in search of new love. The show explores the similarities and differences in dating styles between Korean and Japanese individuals and revisits the images of 'Japanese women' and 'Korean men'.

Choi Daniel, Lee Hyun-jin, and Austin Kang are set to captivate audiences with their cross-border encounters in 'Pre-Marital Love'. Initially announced as the show's host, Choi Daniel will also participate as a contestant. Having been out of the dating scene for a while, Choi Daniel has been rekindling his 'dating cells' by watching dating shows. After much persuasion from the production team, he agreed to join the cast. In 'Pre-Marital Love', Choi Daniel will charm viewers with his endearing awkwardness in dating, transitioning from a 'dating show commentator' to a 'dating show participant'.

Lee Hyun-jin, who debuted alongside Kim Soo-hyun in a sitcom and later became a favorite among mothers with roles in 'SKY Castle' and 'Golden Mask', is also set to break his single status in 'Pre-Marital Love'. Single for three years, Lee Hyun-jin decided to join the show due to his mother's pressure for him to marry now that he is in his 40s. Known for his gentle demeanor and ingrained manners, Lee Hyun-jin, with his mother's enthusiastic support, aims to embody the 'Korean man of dreams'.

Born in 1990, star chef and TV personality Austin Kang will bring his unique charm and straightforward appeal as the youngest single man representing Korea. Known for his impressive physique and magnetic charm, Austin Kang, despite being busy with his restaurant opening, demonstrates that 'loneliness spares no one' after a year and a half of being single. As an American-born Korean man of the MZ generation, Austin Kang's expressive and inquisitive American style will be intriguing to watch as he searches for new love.
