Scarlett Johansson Opens Up About Her Unique Voice on 'You Quiz on the Block'

Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson candidly shared her thoughts about her distinctive voice.

On the 9th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' (referred to as 'You Quiz'), Scarlett Johansson appeared and opened up about her experiences as a child actor.

During the show, host Yoo Jae-suk asked, "I heard there was something you often heard during auditions as a child actor..." Scarlett Johansson replied honestly, "There was something I heard a lot. People would ask, 'Are you sick?' because of my husky voice."

Scarlett Johansson continued, "When I was younger, my voice was even rougher than it is now. There were times during my adolescence when I disliked my voice," she mentioned, reflecting on a time when she felt self-conscious about it.

However, she added with a smile, "Now, this voice has become my strength." Listening to this, co-host Jo Se-ho asked, "Is there anything you would like to say to your past self who disliked her voice?" Scarlett Johansson looked at the camera and began, "You might think you have a strange husky voice."

Scarlett Johansson reassured her younger self, "Thanks to that voice, you'll win an award at the Rome Film Festival. There's nothing to worry about." Her words were touching and inspiring.
