Kim Sung-cheol Captivates Audience with Mysterious Debut in 'No Way Out: The Roulette'

‘No Way Out: The Roulette’ saw Kim Sung-cheol making a mysterious first appearance, drawing attention.

On the 14th, episodes 5 and 6 of ‘No Way Out: The Roulette’ were simultaneously released on Disney+ and U+ Mobile TV. Kim Sung-cheol took on the role of ‘Sung Jun-woo,’ a religious leader with excellent oratory skills and a constant kind smile, presenting a character completely different from his previous roles.

Jun-woo captivated attention from his very first appearance with a unique aura. He appeared in a large church auditorium filled with followers on both the first and second floors, delivering a comfortable yet humorous sermon that elicited enthusiastic responses from the congregation, showcasing the true qualities of a capable and promising pastor.

Later, Jun-woo sincerely answered Detective Baek Jung-sik’s (played by Jo Jin-woong) questions during the investigation, offering refreshments and showing a relaxed demeanor. He also displayed a diligent and kind-hearted nature by taking care of the ailing senior pastor.

Kim Sung-cheol, with just his first appearance, brought a new energy to the series, arousing curiosity. With his long, neat hairstyle, friendly smile, and softer, lower voice, he perfectly transformed into ‘Jun-woo,’ presenting a completely different visual and performance from his previous roles, once again showcasing his exceptional character adaptability. This has led to heightened anticipation about how the exemplary pastor ‘Jun-woo’ is connected to the public contract killing and how his story will unfold in the latter half of the series.

Meanwhile, ‘No Way Out: The Roulette,’ featuring Kim Sung-cheol, is a drama depicting the fierce struggle of people trapped in an inescapable situation surrounding a 20 billion won public contract killing of the notorious criminal Kim Guk-ho (played by Yoo Jae-myung). It is released every Wednesday on Disney+ and U+ Mobile TV.
