Ryu Soo-young arrives in Vanuatu with difficulty due to airline bankruptcy
In the SBS 'Jungle Bob' that first aired on the 13th, Ryu Soo-young, Seo In-guk, Uee, and Lee Seung-yoon were shown leaving for Vanuatu, a country with a primitive civilization, to exchange food cultures.
They had a pre-departure meeting. Ryu Soo-young is showing off home cooking recipes that anyone can easily follow through a variety show. He recently gave a lecture on Korean food in California, USA. Ryu Soo-young said, "I go to the market or mart two or three times a week, and now when they see me, they say, 'It was delicious.' I really like that."
Seo In-guk and Yui showed confidence in swimming. Seo In-guk boasted that he was the 'Ulsan Dolphin', and Yui was mentioned as being nicknamed the 'Incheon Mermaid'.
The members had already booked their flights. However, a week before departure, the airline went bankrupt and the flight was canceled. Lee Seung-yoon was perplexed and said, "Why is this happening to us before we even start? Why of all people?" Ryu Soo-young was worried and said, "When I call, he doesn't answer. He said the plane isn't taking off."
Fortunately, the members managed to find another flight. However, they had to make numerous stops. After a journey of about 40 hours, the members finally arrived in Vanuatu. They decided to stay one night in the capital and head to their final destination the next day. Before entering the island, the members ate and bought basic ingredients for cooking at the market. Ryu Soo-young carefully observed the locals cooking and showed interest with sparkling eyes while shopping. Lee Seung-yoon exclaimed, "Soo-young is a 'cute boy'. He's crazy about cooking." Yoo-ee made everyone laugh by saying, "His mouth was smiling happily, but I saw madness in his eyes as he searched for ingredients. I thought I had to stop him."
Ryu Soo-young made fried red sea bream and octopus ramen with the local ingredients he bought. He was impressed by Ryu Soo-young's cooking, saying, "From now on, I want to call you 'hyung'."
The next morning, the members departed for their final destination, Tasmate Village. The members were originally scheduled to travel by plane, but that was also canceled, so they took a 9-seater light plane that they had difficulty securing. They then traveled by boat and were able to arrive at their destination.
