In episode 7 of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Is It a Coincidence?', which aired on the 12th, Lee Hong-joo (played by Kim So-hyun) and Kang Hu-young (played by Chae Jong-hyeop) overcame a crisis and confirmed their love that had become stronger. Expectations were high for whether the two people who came to understand each other would be able to have a tightly closed happy ending.

On this day, Lee Hong-joo and Bang Jun-ho (played by Yoon Ji-on) had a complete breakup. Bang Jun-ho believed that if he told Lee Hong-joo the reason why he had to leave, they would be able to go back to the way things were. However, Lee Hong-joo realized that the reason for the breakup that she had been curious about for three years was not her fault, and she ended her long relationship with Bang Jun-ho by saying, "I found someone I like."

Baek Do-sun (played by Kim Jung-nan), who declared that she would not return to the United States alone, asked Lee Hong-joo to break up with Kang Hoo-young. Despite Baek Do-sun's sharp warning, Lee Hong-joo boldly confronted her, saying, "She seduced me first," but was shaken by Baek Do-sun's words that she would take Kang Hoo-young to the United States. Lee Hong-joo showed her anxiety by saying to Kang Hoo-young, who ran all the way to her house to meet her, "I don't know anything anymore, and should I find out after you leave?" Kang Hoo-young also felt disappointed at Lee Hong-joo for not telling her about the incident with Bang Jun-ho. Kang Hoo-young, who had seen how much Lee Hong-joo liked Bang Jun-ho when she was nineteen, couldn't help but be concerned about their relationship. Lee Hong-joo turned away, saying, "I forgot for a moment that you were also the kind of person who would just leave," to Kang Hoo-young, who did not trust her.

Lee Hong-joo regretted the words she had said as she recalled Kang Hoo-young, who had always been with her in the memories she had thought were just memories with Bang Jun-ho. Kang Hoo-young also heard from Kwon Sang-pil (Lee Won-jung) about Lee Hong-joo having a dream about someone leaving, and she thought of the moment when she left Lee Hong-joo at the age of nineteen without saying goodbye, and Lee Hong-joo who was always anxious that she would leave even after their reunion. The two who came to understand the reason for each other's 'anxiety' ran to see each other. Kang Hoo-young calmed Lee Hong-joo's anxiety by saying, "I'm going to you." The sight of Lee Hong-joo and Kang Hoo-young realizing a deeper love in the midst of a crisis made us look forward to their happy ending even more.

On this day, the epilogue depicted 19-year-old Lee Hong-joo shedding tears over an unknown emotion toward Kang Hu-young, who left without even saying goodbye. The narration that was added to the tears of 19-year-old Lee Hong-joo, who did not know how to define her own feelings, "There were many days like that when I was young. Days when I don't know the name of the emotion I'm experiencing and don't know the reason. Even as an adult, those moments still come," brought up the difficult emotion of love even at 19 and 29, drawing sympathy from viewers.
