Jeong Dae-se's wife exposes conflict between her mother-in-law and husband
MBN's 'Decision to Divorce at least once' (hereinafter referred to as 'Han Yi-gyeol) has released its first trailer featuring the breathtaking marital conflict between Lee Hye-jung, Jeong Dae-se, Choi Jun-seok, and Robert Harley.
'Decision to Divorce at least once' (hereinafter referred to as 'Han Yi-gyeol'), which will be broadcast for the first time on the 18th, is a virtual divorce observation reality program that was broadcast as a five-part pilot in January and February and recorded the highest viewership rating of 5.3% (based on Nielsen Korea).
In the trailer released by the production team, Lee Hye-jeong of 'The Returned Couple' seems to hint at the ongoing conflict with her husband, Go Min-hwan, saying, "The black-haired beast really never changes." Immediately after, husband Go Min-hwan yells at Lee Hye-jeong, saying, “Where are you talking about?” and the two fight, raising their voices even in the car, showing the couple’s relationship mired in infinite conflict.
'New couple' Robert Harley and his wife Myeong Hyeon-sook sit across from each other at home and vent their dissatisfaction with each other. When Robert Harley interrupts his wife, saying, “It’s really noisy,” Myung Hyeon-sook gets frustrated and says, “No, just listen to what I have to say.” Robert Harley then bursts into tears, saying, “I’ll ask for a divorce then.” While giving the impression that the couple's relationship in the past was serious, Jeong Dae-se and Myung Seo-hyun of 'The Returned Couple' this time shock people by mentioning 'in-law conflict' rather than 'living with the in-laws'.
Myeong Seo-hyeon begins by saying, “Because living with the in-laws is hard,” and then reveals a sad look in her eyes, saying, “Do you hate me that much, mother?” At this, Jeong Dae-se bursts into tears and covers his face with both hands, while Myeong Seo-hyeon complains to her husband, “It’s like I’m talking to a wall,” and ends up sobbing.
The newly joined Choi Jun-seok and Eo Hyo-in are in a tense conflict over economic issues. When Choi Jun-seok irritates his wife by saying, “Don’t you have to earn it?” Eo Hyo-in sharply retorts, “Am I having fun?” Choi Jun-seok urges his wife again, saying, “Stop, stop!” and Eo Hyo-in says, “Get a divorce, even if it’s virtual!” He strongly declares, “If there is no change after this, I really should (divorce)!”
Meanwhile, the couple Jeong Dae-se and Myung Seo-hyun did not hesitate to talk about divorce in front of their young children during the pilot broadcast, sparking controversy over emotional child abuse. Jeong Dae-se called his daughter and son and told them that the family would have to live separately, and Myeong Seo-hyeon explained, "Mom and Dad bought another house. There's our house here, and there's my dad's house over there." However, the son is only 10 years old. I was at an age where I couldn't clearly distinguish between reality and virtual entertainment. After the broadcast aired, viewers pointed out that even if it was a 'virtual divorce', it would have a negative impact on the children's emotions and that it would be difficult for children to accurately perceive the situation.
‘Decision to divorce at least once’ will be aired for the first time on the 18th at 10 PM.
