On the 1st, Wang Ji-hye's agency Story J Company said, "Wang Ji-hye has been cast in KBS2's new special weekend drama 'Iron Family.' “We ask for a lot of interest and love for actress Wang Ji-hye, who will play the role of ‘Lee Mi-yeon.’”
‘Iron Family’ is a romantic, money-filled black comedy story about Darim’s family, an ‘integrity laundromat’ who irons money instead of clothes.
In the play, Wang Ji-hye plays the role of Lee Mi-yeon, the eldest daughter of Ahn Gil-rye (played by Kim Young-ok) and Lee Man-deuk (played by Park In-hwan) and the aunt of the three siblings from the 'Integrity Laundry'. Lee Mi-yeon is an immature and pure character. Thanks to her pretty looks, she met her husband, an accountant, and married into a rich family. However, she is planning to surprise her family with unexpected news.
Wang Ji-hye starred in MBC's 'Personal Taste', SBS's 'Protect the Boss', and Genie TV's original drama 'Oh! He appeared in various works including 'Youngsimi' and boasted a unique presence. In each work, he plays the role of licorice with a variety of charms. Accordingly, expectations are rising as to what kind of performance Wang Ji-hye will show through this ‘Iron Family’.
