Park Myung-soo “The appearance fee was reduced by 30%”
Park Myung-soo expressed his feelings about reuniting with producer Kim Tae-ho after 6 years.

On the 20th, a production presentation for JTBC's new entertainment show 'My name is Gabriel' (hereinafter referred to as 'Gabriel') was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Producers Kim Tae-ho, Lee Tae-kyung, Park Myung-soo, Hong Jin-kyung, Ji Chang-wook, Dex, Gabi, and MC Defconn attended the show.

'Gabriel' is an observational reality show where you live 'the real life of that person' for 72 hours under the name of one of the world's 8 billion people in a place where no one knows you.

Producer Kim Tae-ho said, "While we were having planning meetings since the fall of last year, the word 'Gabriel' came to mind around the end of November, so we made it. I'm grateful to everyone who participated in the long journey. Almost everyone who was in the original plan was able to join us. There was such good energy from the beginning. “I think I came here with this,” he said, expressing his gratitude to the performers.

Park Myung-soo lives the life of Ooty, a 35-year-old somtam seller in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Park Myung-soo, who reunited with producer Kim Tae-ho six years after MBC's 'Infinite Challenge', said, "I'm glad to be together after a long time. I remember doing 'The Lives of Others' as a special feature during 'Infinite Challenge'. The life of an orthopedic surgeon. “I was happy to see my sick friend recover, and this time, my wife, now 28, became the breadwinner of a family in Chiang Mai.”

Park Myung-soo revealed that he could receive a 30% discount on his appearance fee on KBS' 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears'. When asked if the appearance fee for 'Gabriel' was also discounted by 30%, Park Myung-soo said, "That's right. I gave a 30% discount from what I suggested."

Producer Kim Tae-ho refuted this by saying, "The standard for the appearance fee has increased, and what Park Myung-soo suggested has been discounted. We met at the halfway point." He continued, “I cast Park Myung-soo because I wanted to continue the authenticity of ‘The Lives of Others’ that I showed through ‘Infinite Challenge’ in 2011.”

Park Myeong-soo recalled the difficult time of filming, saying, "It was so hard. I was so angry that I started swearing. At the worst, the Thai people ran away."

‘Gabriel’ will premiere at 8:50 PM on the 21st.
