According to a media outlet on the 14th, the actors and staff of 'Squid Game' recently finished filming seasons 2 and 3. It was reported that on the 11th and 12th, to commemorate the last filming, the actor went to Gapyeong for a 2-day, 1-night party.

It was previously reported last year that seasons 2 and 3 of 'Squid Game' would be produced simultaneously, but at the time, Netflix denied it, saying, "We are currently busy with season 2, and it is not being produced simultaneously. It has not been confirmed yet."

However, according to an official from the media that reported on this day, "It is true that Season 2 and Season 3 were filmed at the same time," and explained, "Strictly speaking, it is the same as filming a long story and releasing it in Seasons 2 and 3." Accordingly, it was reported that Season 2 was planned to have 6 episodes, and Season 3 was also planned to have 6 to 7 similar episodes.

Accordingly, Netflix declined to comment to Ten Asia on the 14th, saying, "Currently, 'Squid Game' is working hard to prepare for the release of Season 2. We are not at the stage where we can tell you exactly about Season 3."

Meanwhile, 'Squid Game' is a story in which 456 players challenge a mysterious survival game for a prize of 45.6 billion won, and has gained great popularity around the world since its release in September 2021.
