Choo Sung-hoon Reacts to Being Called Kim Jong-kook's Replacement on SBS 'My Turn'

Choo Sung-hoon expressed his displeasure at being labeled as Kim Jong-kook's replacement, drawing attention.

On the October 14th episode of SBS's 'My Turn,' viewers witnessed Tak Jae-hoon, Nam Yoon-soo, and Park Ji-hyun teasing Choo Sung-hoon by calling him a substitute for Kim Jong-kook, leaving Lee Kyung-kyu visibly flustered.

During the broadcast, Tak Jae-hoon remarked to Choo Sung-hoon, "It seems like they were looking for someone similar to Kim Jong-kook," implying that Choo was filling in for him. Choo responded, "Does it feel like I'm just a backup?" Nam Yoon-soo added, "They say you're a stand-in," while Park Ji-hyun chimed in with "replacement."

Tak Jae-hoon further provoked Choo by saying, "If Kim Jong-kook had agreed to do it, you probably wouldn't be here." At this point, Lee Kyung-kyu intervened, exclaiming, "Tak Jae-hoon, are you crazy?" Tak replied, "I just came out of the room after hearing the kids talk about it." Choo Sung-hoon then told Lee Kyung-kyu, "I have my pride too," and added, "I don't think this is right."

Lee Kyung-kyu, looking flustered, said, "This isn't just a fill-in," to which Choo replied, "If it's not a fill-in, then what is it?" Lee responded, "It's a substitute," and Choo, feeling exasperated, said, "Everyone says the same thing." Eventually, Choo and Lee went to the rooftop to talk. Choo asked, "Why am I specifically Kim Jong-kook's fill-in?"

Choo Sung-hoon continued, "I get along well with Kim Jong-kook, and it's fine. Of course, Kim Jong-kook is a good friend, and I don't really care about that," but then added, "I'm going to leave here." Lee Kyung-kyu tried to console him, saying, "It was my mistake to think of Kim Jong-kook from the start." He then jokingly suggested they go confront Kim Jong-kook, eliciting laughter. Lee also complimented Choo by calling him a sexy star.
