Uhm Tae-gu, the male lead in a romantic comedy, says, “It’s not easy.”
Uhm Tae-gu expressed his feelings about challenging the romantic comedy genre.

On the afternoon of the 12th, a production presentation for JTBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Playing Woman' was held at the Ramada Seoul Sindorim Hotel. Director Kim Young-hwan, who directed the film, and actors Eom Tae-gu, Han Sun-hwa, and Kwon Yul attended the event.

'Woman Who Plays' depicts the twisted romance between big brother Seo Ji-hwan (Eom Tae-gu), who has come to terms with his dark past, and Ko Eun-ha (Han Seon-hwa), a kids creator 'mini sister' who plays with children.

In the play, Eom Tae-gu plays Seo Ji-hwan, the CEO of Thirsty Deer, a meat processing company that has come to terms with his dark past. It will show the big brother disarming through his romance with the lively character Han Seon-hwa.

Eom Tae-gu said about his feelings about being a part of a romantic comedy, “Hyeon-ta was always here, and every day was not easy. I thought a lot of the actors doing romantic comedy were great. “It was difficult to keep the tension up, but I did my best,” he said.

He continued, “I really wanted to try it, and I really enjoyed the script. I was a little scared to actually do it. “So I wanted to take on the challenge,” he said. “When filming, I tried to do it with sincerity rather than approaching it differently from other works. “It wasn’t easy,” he added.
