Miyeon, surprised by the visuals

(G)I-DLE Miyeon showed off her potential as a ‘visual memo’.

Miyeon appeared on JTBC's 'Begin Again Open Mic', which aired on the 22nd and 24th. Miyeon, who went busking in Hong Kong and Macau, showed off her flawless beauty and captivated both eyes and ears with a fantastic live performance worthy of the team's main vocalist.

Miyeon performed the song 'TE AMO' from her first solo album 'MY' as her first song in Hong Kong. Miyeon, who revealed the reason for choosing the song by saying, "I like this song because it has pretty lyrics, so I prepared it for you to listen to," expressed the lovely lyrics with soft yet powerful vocals, creating a beautiful scene as if in a fairy tale.

The next day, Miyeon, who visited Macau, performed 'Passing Through', a song with a different vibe from 'TE AMO'. Miyeon reinterpreted the original song of the band sound with an acoustic feel and doubled the earnest emotion by singing the lyrics about separation in a voice full of sorrow. In particular, Miyeon's vocal technique, which alternates between true voice and falsetto, maximizes the sorrow in the song and leaves a deep lingering feeling.

In an atmosphere ripe with high-quality live performances, the final song of the Macau busking was the duet song 'Je T'aime' by Miyeon and BOL4's Ahn Ji-young. Miyeon performed the song with a refreshing and sweet tone, as if proving her wide vocal spectrum, and completed a fantastic harmony with clear and rich chords, providing an enchanting listen.

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE, to which Miyeon belongs, is garnering attention by taking over college festivals with their recent hit song parade. (G)I-DLE will also appear at the Pusan National University and Inje University festivals on the 29th and the Suwon University and Hansung University festivals on the 30th.
