Choi Ji-woo Opens Up About Parenting Challenges and Late Motherhood

Born in 1975, Choi Ji-woo married in 2018 and welcomed her daughter in 2020. Speaking about her 5-year-old daughter, Choi expressed her affection, saying, "She's very attached to me. But now that we can communicate, it's nice to go places together." She also revealed her parenting philosophy, stating, "When dining out with my child, YouTube is off-limits. No phones are allowed during meals."

Yoo Yeon-seok noted, "The other moms must all be younger," to which Choi responded, "They're not just younger; there's a 20-year age gap. Many moms are born in the '90s. I just follow along when they ask if I want to join. What else can I do?" she laughed.
Choi Ji-woo also shared, "Getting married late means I don't feel resentful about focusing on my child now. I don't have any desire for 'me time.'" When Yoo Yeon-seok commented, "You've done it all," Choi laughed and said, "Not really." She added, "I do have some ambitions, but these days I just go with the flow. I've become more at ease."
