Jo Woo-jin and Lee Jeong-eun confirmed to appear in ‘Knock Off’

The new drama 'Knock Off' (working title) has created a golden supporting cast line-up.

As a result of Ten Asia's coverage on the 17th, several supporting actors famous for their licorice acting were confirmed to appear in 'Knock Off'. Actors Lee Jeong-eun will play the role of Park Ae-ja, Jo Woo-jin will play the role of Baek Jong-min, Kim Eui-seong will play the role of his partner Pil-gu, Kang Mal-geum will play the role of Jegal Hyeon-sook, and Kim Hye-eun will play the role of Jang Ji-su.

'Knock Off', a black comedy genre, is set from the 1997 foreign exchange crisis (IMF crisis) to the early 2000s and depicts various stories based on fake luxury goods. This is a new work by director Park Hyun-seok, who directed Season 2 of the tvN drama 'Secret Forest', and is co-produced by SLL and Arc Media. Broadcasting channels and platforms are being negotiated.

In addition to Lee Jeong-eun, Jo Woo-jin, Kim Eui-seong, Kang Mal-geum, and Kim Hye-eun, it was announced that Ko Kyu-pil and Yoo Jae-myeong had already joined the work as supporting actors. The main actors include Kim Soo-hyun, Jo Bo-ah, and Kim Si-eun.

Meanwhile, Lee Jeong-eun is also scheduled to air the first episode of JTBC's new drama 'The Girl Who Is Different from Day and Night' next month. 'The Girl Who Is Different by Day and Night' is an unusual romantic comedy drama about a job seeker who is suddenly trapped in old age time and a talented prosecutor who is caught up in her all day and night. Lee Jeong-eun works with Jeong Eun-ji and Choi Jin-hyuk.

The Disney+ original series 'Gangnam B-Side' starring Jo Woo-jin has been confirmed to be released in the second half of 2024. 'Gangnam Be-Side' is a crime drama in which a demoted elite detective, a rank prosecutor with no ties, and a mysterious broker work together to chase the dark cartel that has taken over the glamorous nights of Gangnam, and reunite three years after the 2021 film 'Send Restrictions'. Expectations are high that Jo Woo-jin and Ji Chang-wook will once again bring about sparkling acting synergy and tell a powerful story.
