A viewership rating of 20% is a waste... ‘Queen of Tears’ faces a frustrating ending

It's a waste of viewership ratings and topicality. The further you go, the more it feels like you've eaten 100 sweet potatoes.

In the 15th episode of the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama 'Queen of Tears' (written by Park Ji-eun/directed by Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won), which aired on the 27th, Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun) and Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won) faced another crisis.

Hong Hae-in lost his memory after undergoing surgery in Germany, and Yoon Eun-seong (Park Seong-hoon) manipulated Hong Hae-in's memories. Hong Hae-in had no choice but to rely on Yoon Eun-seong's words as both the attending doctor and the nurse changed. Yoon Eun-seong turned Baek Hyun-woo into an ex-husband who cheated on him, divorced him, and stalked him, while he portrayed himself as a pure man who even injured his hand while trying to save Hong Hae-in.

As promised to Hong Hae-in, Baek Hyun-woo collected evidence step by step to protect her, and through the trial, he completely proved his innocence and became free. For Hong Hae-in, who returned to the Queens Department Store, despite the harsh gaze from people, he persevered and returned to work at the company, and even though it was only sharp words, he also got a chance to have a private conversation with his loved one.

As time passed, Hong Hae-in happened to receive a parcel containing a diary he had used in the past. Yoon Eun-seong tried to burn this diary in Germany, but failed.

Hong Hae-in read his sentence, 'That man was the reason I didn't want to lose my memory, the only reason I wanted to live even if I lost my memory,' and finally remembered Baek Hyun-woo. However, just before the two's heartbreaking reunion, Baek Hyun-woo was hit by Yoon Eun-seong's car, heightening anxiety. The Red Sea people just disappeared.

After viewers crossed one wall of 'Baek Hyun-woo going to jail', they faced another wall called a traffic accident. Viewers who were waiting for a happy ending were met with a bleeding Baek Hyun-woo just before the end.
