Song Yi-woo Intensifies Suspense in tvN Drama 'Siren'

Actor Song Yi-woo is injecting tension into the drama 'Siren'.

In the episode aired on the 24th, Song Yi-woo appeared as Hwang Sook-ji in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Siren', showcasing a mysterious presence. Initially identified as a suspect in the fall of Kim Yoon-ji (played by Lee Elijah), her true role as either the culprit or an ally remains undisclosed, piquing viewers' curiosity.

Hwang Sook-ji naturally guides the storyline by interacting with characters around the bar she operates. In episode 5, she expressed tender feelings towards Cha Woo-seok (played by Wi Ha-jun) by referring to Han Seol-ah (played by Park Min-young) as a "poor friend, with no luck at all." However, her subsequent meaningful gaze left room for further suspicion.

In episode 7, she revealed another side through her interaction with Do Eun-hyuk (played by Han Jun-woo). The scene where she comments on a birthday cake not given to Han Seol-ah, "You never bought me one for my birthday," conveyed mixed feelings of jealousy and disappointment.

Episode 8 heightened suspicion as she observed the people around Han Seol-ah. Particularly, her gaze at Baek Joon-beom (played by Kim Jung-hyun) during an auction was distinct from others, creating new tension. Whether it's mere caution or she knows something more remains unclear, adding another layer of mystery.
