Oh Yoon-ah revealed her affection for her son who is on the autism spectrum.
On TV Chosun's 'Gourmet Heo Young-man's Baekban Travels' (hereinafter referred to as 'Baekban Travels'), which aired on the 21st, Heo Young-man headed to Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do with guest Oh Yoon-ah.
Heo Young-man asked Oh Yoon-ah, “Who do you think of when you see delicious food?” Oh Yoon-ah said, "Of course I think of my son. When I eat with my son and see delicious food, I think of my mom and dad. I guess I can't help it."
Two people visited a delicious tofu restaurant. Oh Yoon-ah also revealed the secret to maintaining her body. Oh Yoon-ah emphasized, "It's not something you're born with. Even if you're born with it, you have to take care of it."
He then confessed, "When I first debuted as a model, I was proud of my body. I thought I had a good body. But when I started working as an actor, I realized that my body looked fat." He said, "When I was trying to lose weight, I put all my food away at 6 p.m. Even when filming ended at 12 p.m., I didn't eat anything and just jumped rope. I jumped rope for two hours a day."
Oh Yoon-ah added, "I always maintain about 52kg. I try hard not to go over that weight. My height is about 170cm."
Two people visited the barley gulbi restaurant. Oh Yoon-ah said, "My mother cooks dried oysters like that when special guests come over. I also fed my son a lot of dried oysters when he was a baby."
Oh Yoon-ah said about her son, "He is 16 years old and has a developmental disability on the autism spectrum. He still likes cartoons. He also likes cartoons like Superboard and old cartoon movies."
Heo Young-man offered consolation, saying, “You must have had a hard time working and raising a child alone.” Oh Yoon-ah said, "I didn't raise him alone, but my mother raised him with me. While I was working, I taught my son how to read and write. Thanks to my parents, I know more than my regular friends."
Oh Yoon-ah said, "When I was young, I was really worried. But now, I feel more comforted by my son. When I go home when I'm tired and having a hard time, my son gives me a heart and says he loves me." He continued, "There are times when he says unexpected, beautiful things. It's healing and comforting. When a grown child expresses love so purely, I feel even more comforted and moved."
