Nam Bo-ra, "I gained enlightenment after not contacting the actors of the movie 'Sunny'"
On the 14th, an interview with Nam Bo-ra of KBS2's 'Hyosim, Each Life' (hereinafter referred to as 'Hyosim') was held at a cafe in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul.
'Hyosim' is a work that depicts the story of Hyosim, who has sacrificed her life for her family, and begins to value herself, trying to lead an independent life. Nam Bo-ra plays the role of Jeong Mi-rim, a former lawyer at a large law firm who walked a solid path in life, but after becoming disillusioned with the legal profession's inability to help people in need and resigning, she begins a new life as an aspiring actress.
Nam Bo-ra expressed her feelings about working with senior actors through ‘Hyosim.’ He said, "In the past, it was difficult to act with seniors. It wasn't until I was in my mid-30s that I felt at ease and dealing with seniors became natural. My seniors didn't just see me as a child, but treated me like an adult actor, so I felt at ease. “I was able to film,” he said, adding, “Thanks to working with my seniors, I felt many respectable things about them, not only in terms of acting but also in their attitude toward life.”
On the other hand, I also asked about the movie ‘Sunny’ in the past with actors of the same age. Now, 13 years have passed since the release of 'Sunny', Nam Bo-ra answered honestly, "We don't keep in touch much these days because we are all busy. Still, since we are friends who work in the same entertainment industry, I learn a lot directly and indirectly." .
He said, "When I watch my friends' works, I come to the realization, 'That's how they express their characters.' As someone who knows my friends' real personalities well, when I see new sides of them through entertainment, I think, 'This friend's personality is portrayed like that.' “There are so many things I can feel and learn from so many different aspects,” he said, expressing his special feelings.
