Reunion of 'Sunny' Cast in New MBC Show 'I'm Sunny Thank You' Sparks Excitement

The cast of 'Sunny' has reunited for a new MBC variety show, 'I'm Sunny Thank You,' and a group photo has been released to the delight of fans.

Set to premiere on November 5th, 'I'm Sunny Thank You' follows the beloved actors from the film 'Sunny' as they embark on a journey to rediscover the importance of friendship. The show, featuring the 'Sunny' cast reuniting as the 'Sunnies,' has already garnered significant attention.

A teaser video released on October 27th showcased the long-awaited reunion of the Sunnies. As nostalgic music played, the cast danced joyfully, with Kang So-ra suggesting a group trip. The video also featured scenic views of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China, promising a blend of enduring friendship, exotic landscapes, and laughter.

Today, on November 3rd, the production team of 'I'm Sunny Thank You' released an additional group selfie of the Sunnies, further fueling fan excitement. Despite 14 years having passed, the cast's youthful smiles evoke fond memories, reminiscent of a scene from the movie.

The photo features Kang So-ra, Park Jin-joo, Nam Bo-ra, Shim Eun-kyung, Kim Bo-mi, and Kim Min-young, all smiling brightly. Comedian Lee Eun-ji also appears among them. The Sunnies display their enduring friendship with heart gestures, while champagne and floral decorations on the table celebrate their reunion.

Regarding the reunion, the production team commented, "Even though the Sunnies hadn't gathered in a long time, they laughed and chatted as if they had just met yesterday. Tune in to the first episode to see what stories were shared during this joyful reunion."

MBC's 'I'm Sunny Thank You' will air its first episode on November 5th at 8:40 PM.
