Cha Eun-woo, cold expression + anger
On the 8th, MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Wonderful World' released a pre-release video for episode 3, showing Eun Soo-hyun (played by Kim Nam-joo) reuniting with Kwon Seon-yul (played by Cha Eun-woo) at the junkyard. 'Wonderful World' is a human mystery drama in which Eun Soo-hyun, who personally punished her son's murderer, uncovers the mysterious secrets surrounding that day. After its first broadcast on the 1st, it recorded its highest viewer rating of 7.2% in just two episodes, ranking first in the TV-OTT integrated drama topicality survey (based on Good Data Corporation).
Previously, in episodes 1 and 2, Eun Soo-hyun experienced a shocking incident in which she lost her son in a traffic accident in a children's protection zone, and then personally punished the perpetrator and was imprisoned. In the process, Su-hyeon develops a friendship with fellow inmate Jang Hyeong-ja (played by Kang Ae-sim), and is given a diary by Hyeong-ja with a request to find children who were victims of the arson he committed before his death. Despite his handsome appearance, Kwon Seon-yul was portrayed living a double life, working at a junkyard during the day and working as a subordinate to Kim Jun (played by Park Hyeok-kwon) at night. Meanwhile, Soo-hyeon caught Seon-yul's attention when he fatefully met Seon-yul, who gave him an umbrella at the grave of his dead son, whom he visited after being released from prison.
In the released video, Eun Soo-hyun visits Seon-yul Kwon, who is left alone in a junkyard late at night, and hands him the diary of Jang Hyeong-ja, a prison classmate, saying, "Actually, someone asked me to meet him instead." In episode 2, Eun Soo-hyun received a request from Jang Hyung-ja, who confessed to her past mistakes. Jang Hyeong-ja tried to kill her husband who had committed an affair, causing an innocent family to become caught up in the arson incident, and she wrote a letter out of apologetic feelings toward her child, who was the only surviving child. In the end, Eun Soo-hyun delivered the diary to Kwon Seon-yul, and it was revealed that the arson victim she found was Kwon Seon-yul, giving a surprise.
When Kwon Seon-yul found out that the diary given by Eun Soo-hyun belonged to the perpetrator of the arson incident that destroyed his family, his cold expression immediately turned the atmosphere on thin ice, drawing attention. Eun Soo-hyun tried to convey Jang Hyeong-ja's feelings of atonement by saying, "I wrote a letter to that person with an apologetic heart for a long time." However, Kwon Seon-yul exploded the tension of those watching by asking in an angry voice, “So, are you here to deliver an apology from the person who killed my parents?” This stimulates curiosity about how the relationship between the two people, which creates tension, will continue in the future.
