Shin Se-kyung "Jo Jung-seok has become an even bigger fan"

Actress Shin Se-kyung shared her thoughts on the end of the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama 'Sejak, The Charmed Ones'.

Shin Se-kyung said through her agency EDAM Entertainment on the 4th, "I would like to express my gratitude to the viewers who loved 'Sejak, The Bewitched.' I am truly grateful for the time we spent loving, crying, and laughing together."

Shin Se-kyung achieved great success by playing the role of Kang Hee-soo, who completed all revenge and met a closed ending with her lover in 'Sejak, The Bewitched', which ended on the 3rd. She first appeared in a fictional historical drama based on imagination as the character of a cross-dressing woman who had to disguise herself as a man to save the people who were taken by the Qing, drawing attention.

As the play unfolds, Shin Se-kyung realistically portrays the cruel fate of a woman who, after experiencing various hardships and crises due to the king, becomes a spy to take revenge on him. If he appeared pure and elegant at the beginning of the play, he transformed into a stronger character as the episodes progressed, and solved the complex political situation with his unique smarts. Here, the real-life conflict between revenge and love gave viewers a high sense of immersion. Shin Se-kyung's unique transformation stood out during episode 16.

Shin Se-kyung said, "I felt a lot after seeing Jo Jung-seok's sense and ability shine every time he faced difficult scenes. A. First, I would like to express my gratitude to the viewers who loved ‘Sejak, The Bewitched’. I am truly grateful for the time we spent loving, crying and laughing together!

Q. Looking at the behind-the-scenes content released after each episode, I was able to feel the friendly atmosphere on set. I worked with actors of various ages, including actor Jo Jung-seok, who was the heartbreaking 'Different Dream Couple', and Choi Ye-chan, who was cute yet dependable, and played the role of 'Great Prince.' How was your chemistry on set? Please let us know if there are any memorable episodes while filming.
A. I can say that the chemistry on set is exactly as many people have seen. The chemistry with all the actors was perfect. On cold days, we shared warmth by handing each other hot packs, and on hot days, I remember the days when we got through it together by providing a nice place with a cool breeze on set. It was always fun to film with our actor Choi Ye-chan, who was actually the smart and brilliant Prince Moonseong himself. He was the endorphin on set for our drama. Not just because it's cute (of course it's cute!!), but because the moment of watching actor Ye Chan's shining performance was a great joy to everyone at the scene.

Q. Actor Se-kyung, if there is a scene or line that fascinates you the most, which episode and which scene is it?
A. I really like Part 8. I think Part 8 is a comprehensive gift set that encompasses the various elements that a romantic historical drama can show. I already told you about the ending of Part 8 during the pre-promotion, so I think everyone knows. I also really like the scene where Lee In looks at Hee-su, who is drunk and leaning against a tree. I felt like gentle waves crashing in my heart.

Q. The ending of the drama that left a deep impression cannot be left out. What happened to Lee In and Kang Hee-soo as portrayed by actor Se-kyung later?
A. I think Lee In and Hee Soo lived a truly joyful life, only looking out for each other. There's no need to feel bored❤
