Actors Bae Doo-na and Ryu Seung-beom's 'Family Planning', a fake family drama to survive.

The Coupang Play series ‘Family Planning’ revealed the script reading scene.

'Family Planning' is a story about people with special abilities who disguise themselves as family members in order to survive and use unique methods to defeat the vicious criminals who threaten them. Creators Kim Jung-min, Kim Gok, director Kim Sun brothers, actors Bae Doo-na, Ryu Seung-beom, Baek Yun-sik, Romon, and Lee Su-hyun participated in the script reading.

Bae Doo-na played the role of Han Young-soo, a mother who possesses special abilities and is at least kind to her children. Bae Doo-na said, "The script was so interesting that I waited for a very long time. I was excited and nervous even before reading the script because actors I really like and respect are joining the cast."

Ryu Seung-beom plays the role of Baek Cheol-hee, a somewhat timid father who is infinitely loving to his wife and has hidden abilities. Ryu Seung-beom emphasized, “I am determined to do my best to make this work successful.” Baek Yoon-sik appears as Baek Kang-seong, a grumpy but caring grandfather who cares deeply for his family. Baek Yun-sik expressed his thoughts, “I felt a lot through the reading. I ask for your interest.”

Romon gives a passionate performance as Baek Ji-hoon, the warm and gentle son. Lomon said, “It was an honor just to be in one place with great seniors.” Lee Soo-hyun appears as Baek Ji-woo, Ji-hoon's prickly and sensitive daughter who is the same age as Ji-hoon. Lee Soo-hyun, who is attempting acting for the first time, said, "I was half excited and half worried. It was an honor to be able to do a reading with great seniors."

The Coupang Play series 'Family Planning' began filming at the end of December 2023, and is scheduled to be released on Coupang Play in 2024.
