Kim Nam-joo from drama ‘Wonderful World’, aspect of box office queen

Actress Kim Nam-joo played the role of Eun Soo-hyun in MBC's 'Wonderful World'.

'Wonderful World' is a human mystery drama in which Eun Soo-hyun (Kim Nam-joo), who personally punished the murderer who killed her son, uncovers the mysterious secrets surrounding that day. Director Lee Seung-young of ‘Tracer 1, 2’ and ‘Voice 2’ and writer Kim Ji-eun of ‘Cheongdam-dong Scandal’ joined.

Kim Nam-joo played the role of Eun Soo-hyun, a psychology professor and writer who succeeded in society and created a perfect family, but whose life changed 180 degrees when she personally punished the perpetrator who harmed her young son. Starting from ‘that day’ when he lost his son and plunged headlong into the abyss, he uncovers the truth of the multi-layered incident. A tragic narrative will be told through Eun Soo-hyun, who directly condemns the perpetrator who murdered her son. Previously, Kim Nam-joo said, "While preparing for Eun Soo-hyun, I went into filming solely with a mother's heart. I tried to immerse myself in the moment of each scene and only follow Eun Soo-hyun's emotions."

Above all, ‘Wonderful World’ is Kim Nam-joo’s return to MBC after 13 years. In 'Queen of Domestic Affairs' and 'Queen of Reversal', she was called the 'box office queen' due to the high viewer ratings and topicality of each episode. When 'Queen of Housewives' aired, Kim Nam-joo's hair, clothes, and even her bag were popular.

MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Wonderful World' will premiere on March 1 at 9:50 PM and can also be watched through Disney+.
