Cha Eun-woo, rebellious eyes in front of Kim Nam-joo

Character and group posters for MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Wonderful World' have been released.

On the 20th, 'Wonderful World' released character posters for Kim Nam-joo, Cha Eun-woo, Kim Kang-woo, and Lim Se-mi, as well as a four-person group poster. 'Wonderful World' is a human mystery drama in which Eun Soo-hyun (Kim Nam-joo), who personally punished the murderer who killed her son, uncovers the mysterious secrets surrounding that day.

Director Lee Seung-young of the dramas ‘Tracer 1, 2’ and ‘Voice 2’ and writer Kim Ji-eun of the dramas ‘Lies of Lies’ and ‘Cheongdam-dong Scandal’ teamed up. Kim Nam-joo (playing the role of Eun Soo-hyun), who returned to the drama after 6 years, and Cha Eun-woo (playing the role of Kwon Seon-yul), Kim Kang-woo (playing the role of Kang Su-ho), and Im Se-mi (playing the role of Han Yu-ri), who announced an unprecedented acting transformation, have confirmed their appearances, raising expectations.

Namjoo Kim conveys the dangerous and earnest look in her mother's eyes as she abandons her stable life and becomes a murderer herself. Eun Soo-hyun, played by Kim Nam-joo, was a successful psychology professor and writer, but one day, her life changed 180 degrees when she personally punished her son's murderer. In particular, the copy of "I will never let you go, absolutely" and Kim Nam-joo's sorrowful eyes explode, making you feel Eun Soo-hyun's desperate motherhood, while also stimulating curiosity about the truth of the day when all the tragedies began.

Cha Eun-woo's rebellious eyes increase interest in Kwon Seon-yul's narrative. In the play, Cha Eun-woo plays the role of Kwon Seon-yul, a mysterious young man who chooses a rough life after losing everything one day, and becomes entangled with Eun Soo-hyun, who shares a similar wound. Among these, Cha Eun-woo's unintelligible eyes in the poster and the copy, "How do I look? Do I think I'm living well?" reveal a challenging personality, increasing Cha Eun-woo's curiosity about the split winding rate.

Kim Kang-woo adds to the curiosity about the character by capturing the eyes of a man with deep wounds in the appearance of a highly trustworthy anchor. Kang Soo-ho, played by Kim Kang-woo, is Eun Soo-hyun's husband and a talented current anchorman with a former journalist background, who firmly maintains his position despite his tragic family history. The copy, “People who have nothing more to lose have nothing to fear,” reveals the strong charisma that Kim Kang-woo will shine in the midst of a whirlpool of catastrophe.

Lastly, Lim Se-mi's shaking eyes are impressive. In the drama, Im Se-mi plays the role of Han Yu-ri, the CEO of a successful Cheongdam select shop and Eun Soo-hyun's close younger sister who she considers like her own sister. The copy, "How did I meet someone like a sister in my life?" makes people look forward to seeing Lim Se-mi's appearance as a sister in the play, while the meaningful expression on her face about what a person like a sister would have meant to her draws attention to the secret she hid. Above all, the group poster enhances the mysterious mood of the play by highlighting the different perspectives of Kim Nam-joo, Cha Eun-woo, Kim Kang-woo, and Lim Se-mi. The tear-stained title and the copy 'In an instant, everything fell apart' are added to the image of four people looking in different directions, stacked on top of each other, raising curiosity about the events of 'that day' that led them to tragedy. Accordingly, it is expected to open the door to the most devastating and intense mystery in 2024.

'Wonderful World' will be aired for the first time on March 1, and can also be watched through Disney+.
