Actress Kim Yoon-ji of the Hollywood movie 'Lyft: Rob the Plane' (directed by F. Gary Gray) appeared on JTBC's 'Newsroom' broadcast on the 17th.

On this day, Kim Yun-ji appeared as Mi-seon in the Netflix movie 'Lift' and told the story of her debut as an actress in Hollywood. Kim Yun-ji said about her transition from being a singer NS Yoon-ji to working as an actress, "Something still feels unfamiliar. When I greet her as an actress, I feel a little tickled and nervous." He added, "The name that cannot be left out because of who I am now is NS Yoon-G. It is a name that I am both sad and grateful for because I have worked hard as NS Yoon-G for many years."

Regarding his thoughts on entering Hollywood, he said, "Because I grew up in the United States, I was mainly exposed to American works, and I had a dream of entering the United States, but honestly, I still can't believe that I would meet such a great work and that my face would be hanging in New York." “There are times when I ask for a little pinch,” he said. Regarding the process of challenging Hollywood through 'Lift', Kim Yun-ji said, "The first time I encountered an American audition was 4-5 years ago. I have been rejected countless times. In the case of this work, my dream was to act in a movie about thieves as an actor. "I filmed an audition video for over 6 hours with my younger brother who was coming home from work. After waiting a month, I received a call that I had been accepted and was told that I had to leave the country the following week."

Kim Yun-ji, who said that even though English was her comfortable language, she had difficulties living in Korea for a long time, she received a lot of help from the actors on set. Kim Yoon-ji responded, "I harassed the other actors on set. A lot of technical terms came up, so I asked them to record it. After asking them to read it, I recorded it and returned to the hotel room to practice and try to express it a little more skillfully."

Yunji Kim, who went through a slump five years ago and even tried to quit everything, said, "I've been working hard for over 8 years, but I always feel like I'm not meeting expectations as much as I put in, that I'm not getting any results, and that I'm the only one who keeps stagnant. “At that time, something happened and the future was dark,” he said, honestly confessing the difficult time.

He continued, "'Still, if you gave up your entire life in America and came to Korea and started something, shouldn't you see an end to something? Shouldn't you achieve something?' That's what my mom just said, and that was the anger inside me. “I think it helped me wake up again,” he added. Kim Yun-ji, who overcame it again with her mother's advice, said, "I was able to overcome that time well without any other help as I spent time to bring out my passion again, and because I endured it well back then, I did not give up and I am so grateful that I am here now." “He explained.

Kim Yun-ji, who wants to have a 'long run', said, "I started working in my early 20s and am well into my 30s, and I am grateful that I can continue to work. I can continue to do what I like in the future, and if given the opportunity, my dream is bigger than that." “I don’t think there will be any.
