Kim Ho-jung, personally comes forward for the children of Turkana, Kenya
In tvN's 'Light of Hope, Blue Lighting', which will be broadcast at 7:30 pm on the 24th, the real story of Kim Ho-jung, who visited the Turkana region in Kenya with the Korean Committee for UNICEF, will be revealed.
'Light of Hope, Blue Lighting', which was planned as tvN's first fundraising broadcast, will depict a heartwarming story in which Kim Ho-joong visits the Turkana region in Kenya to give hope and encourage interest. Kim Ho-jung visits Nanyang Akipi village, which is suffering a double whammy from contaminated drinking water in Kenya, which is suffering from a great famine, and meets twelve-year-old Shadrak, who lost his parents and is taking care of his younger siblings.
Kim Ho-jung, who visited Kenya, said, “When I asked Shadrak about his dream, I thought he wouldn’t say anything, but he immediately said he wanted to become a doctor. For Shadrak, who lost his mother and father to illness, his dream of becoming a doctor seemed like the will that supported his life. “I would be grateful if many people would show warm interest and support so that Shadrak’s hope does not turn into despair,” he said, conveying the situation at the time.
Kim Ho-joong plans to encourage interest in and support for Kenyan children suffering from malnutrition and disease by singing 'You Raise Me Up' and other heartbreaking stories through 'Light of Hope, Blue Lighting'.
tvN's first fundraising broadcast 'Light of Hope, Blue Lighting' featuring Kim Ho-joong will be broadcast at 7:30 pm on the 24th, and sponsorship participation is possible through the broadcast and the UNICEF Korean Committee website.
