‘Good Partner’, a drama about a divorce lawyer, casts Jang Na-ra, Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Jun-han, and Pyo Ji-hoon
'Good Partner' is a cold and hot human legal office drama about Cha Eun-kyung, a star lawyer whose calling is divorce, and Han Yu-ri, a new lawyer who is experiencing divorce for the first time. It was written by divorce lawyer Choi Yu-na, of the divorce-friendly Instatoon 'Marriage Red', and directed by Kim Garam of 'I Know It', 'Flower Crew of Joseon Marriage Agency', and 'Vampire Detective'.
Actress Jang Na-ra takes on the role of Cha Eun-kyung, a star lawyer whose vocation is divorce. A 17-year veteran lawyer, he is a wannabe that everyone recognizes, but his personality is straightforward and harsh. Cha Eun-kyung, who is on the verge of divorce despite her title as the nation's divorce lawyer, faces a big change after encountering and forming alliances with Han Yu-ri, a new lawyer who is the exact opposite of her. Jang Na-ra expressed her thoughts, "The script was very interesting. I am happy to work with a good director and writer, and actress Nam Ji-hyun, whom I wanted to act with."
Actress Nam Ji-hyun plays Han Yu-ri, a new lawyer who is experiencing divorce for the first time. He constantly clashes with Cha Eun-kyung, who believes that a true lawyer must put the company's interests first and faithfully act as an agent even for customers who have made mistakes. Nam Ji-hyun said, “This is a work that makes you think about human life in various directions. I will work hard, so please show your support.”
Actor Kim Jun-han appears as Jeong Woo-jin, a lawyer who is Cha Eun-kyung's junior and the head of divorce team 2 at Daejeong Law Firm. He puts on the brakes whenever Cha Eun-kyung goes crazy and doesn't shy away from saying harsh words, and he has a soft charisma that goes back and forth between kindness and coldness. However, with Cha Eun-kyung's divorce crisis, changes come to him as well. Kim Jun-han said, “Each of the stories is a living reality itself, but at the same time, it is very dramatic. Please show a lot of anticipation and love.”
Actor Pyo Ji-hoon appears as Jeon Eun-ho, an optimistic lawyer. After receiving orders to prevent the divorce team's frequent departure of new members, he becomes Han Yu-ri's dedicated marker. Pyo Ji-hoon said, “This is my first time taking on the role of a lawyer who is completely different from what I have shown so far. “Please wait with much anticipation and support,” he said.
The SBS drama ‘Good Partner’ is scheduled to air in 2024.
