Drama 'LTNS' actor Lee Som, "The goal-oriented and aggressive Woojin character was attractive."
TVING's original series 'LTNS' is an unpredictable and highly stimulating affair tracking drama that follows Woojin and Samuel, a married couple whose relationship has become estranged due to the bitter reality, as they chase after unfaithful couples to make money.
Actor Lee Som played the role of Woo-jin, a wife who was driven by reality and became violent due to the couple having no money, no children, and no relationship. Lee Som, who read the 'LTNS' script immediately after receiving it, said, "Director Jeon Go-woon asked me to take a look at the script. I laughed out loud and read episodes 1 and 2 in one go. I liked the unique and bold dialogue from the opening, and I liked Woojin and “I was curious about what Samuel’s story would be like. In particular, the goal-oriented and aggressive Woojin character was attractive, so when I was offered to join, I joined without hesitation.”
In the play, Woojin, played by Lee Som, is a person who is cold on the outside but warmer than anyone else on the inside, even in the difficult reality. Regarding the process of embodying the character, Lee Som said, "I created the character with the hope that there would be a contrast between Woojin's face at home and Woojin's face in social life. For example, the facial expression should reflect social skills outside and the spirit of service at work. “I thought I would do it, and although I was busy and tired at home, I tried to maximize my solemn and sometimes aggressive appearance as the head of the family,” he explained. He added, "We put a lot of effort into making it to convey realistic stories without getting bored. I think you will be able to watch it with empathy, sometimes laughing, sometimes crying. Please give it a lot of love."
TVING's original series 'LTNS' will be released for the first time on January 19th at 12 PM.
