Drama 'The Matchmakers' Jo Yi-hyun and Rowoon kiss and confirm their feelings

In episode 12 of KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Matchmakers', which aired on the 11th, Soon-deok Jeong (I-hyeon Jo) and Jeong-woo Shim (Ro-woon) recognized each other's identities and even confirmed their feelings.

On this day, Jeong Soon-deok discovered something strange while coordinating matchmaking with Shim Jeong-woo. Sim Jeong-woo only experienced chest pain in front of men and women. Sundeok Jeong discussed this with Mrs. Cho. What's unusual is that the man and woman felt chest pain as if they were predicting it even before they felt attracted to each other. After hearing about Sim Jeong-woo's symptoms, Mrs. Cho diagnosed him as possibly being a double-tongue practitioner.

Jeong Soon-deok, who had been looking for partners for Dr. Maeng's three sisters, was saddened when the matchmaking process came to an end. Sim Jeong-woo asked, "Which family does your wife belong to?" and asked Jeong Sun-deok's real identity, but Jeong Sun-deok said, "It's better not to know."

Afterwards, Sim Jeong-woo also tried to help the crown prince (Hong Dong-young), who was exchanging letters with Maeng Ha-na (Shin Jung-hye). Sim Jeong-woo visited the king (Jo Han-cheol) and reported the truth about the events that were threatening the crown prince. It continues from the death of Jo In-hyeon (Park Seong-jin) eight years ago. At that time, Jo In-hyeon discovered the grave of the traitor of the old Dongpa faction, but was killed by his father. Hearing this, the king was shocked and asked, "Are you saying that Jwasang tried to kill the crown prince eight years ago as well?" and Sim Jeong-woo said, "This time, Jwasang tried to harm the crown prince by taking advantage of Geumjam's solitude," and told him to interrogate the Ming Dynasty interpreter.

After telling the truth to the king, Sim Jeong-woo left the palace and ran into Jo Geun-seok (Kim Si-woo) and Jeong Sun-deok, the grandsons of the Left Councillor. Jo Geun-seok introduced Jeong Soon-deok as his mother, and Shim Jeong-woo learned that Jeong Soon-deok was the Left Councilor's daughter-in-law. Shim Jeong-woo, who felt that if he made a mistake, Jeong Soon-deok could be swept up in the aftermath of the treason, went to Jeong Soon-gu (Heo Nam-joon) to ask for help.

When Sim Jeong-woo discovered that Jeong Sun-deok was the daughter-in-law of the Left Councillor, she visited her mother-in-law, Mrs. Park (Park Ji-young). Soon-deok Jeong revealed her secret identity, saying, “I am Yeoju’s wife, who is called the god of matchmaking.” Mrs. Park said, "It must have been difficult, but thank you for having the courage to tell me. Just because you confessed to yourself doesn't mean I've forgiven you for deceiving me and going around with a man outside of my family. Just stay at home for the time being."

However, Soon-deok Jeong learned that Jeong-woo Sim might be in danger. Jeong Soon-deok immediately delivered the news to Sim Jeong-woo. Thanks to that, Sim Jeong-woo was able to save his life. Jeong Soon-deok cried and said, "I couldn't think of anything when I thought that the captain could die," and Shim Jeong-woo held Jeong Soon-deok in his arms and expressed his gratitude, saying, "I'm sorry for startling you. Thank you for saving me."

In response, Jeong Soon-deok said, "I thought I could forget about you, but I don't think I can," and Sim Jeong-woo said, "Do you know that now? I knew it from the first time I saw you." The two people confirmed their feelings for each other and kissed.
